Description
Hadstock Hall, formerly the Manor House, was built around 1600 and has undergone alterations in the 18th century and later, with restoration in the 20th century. The building features exposed timber-framing on the front and is two storeys high. It has a three-window range, with some double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, as well as some 20th-century casements. The roof is tiled and has a coved plaster eaves cornice at the front. On the south-east side, there is an original chimney stack with octagonal shafts, which has been rebuilt or restored and now has modern caps; it originally had eight shafts but now has seven.
