Description
This is an early 19th century timber-framed house, originally built as a roadside dwelling. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The upper storey has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor windows are double-hung sashes, with two panes on each, except for one tripartite window. A doorway is located on the west side, topped with a cornice hood. Near the corner of the upper storey is an early 19th century ships figurehead depicting an officer holding a telescope. The roof is slate-covered, with a central chimney stack.
