Description

Midsummer House is a timber-framed house, likely built around 1600, with later additions. It has been renovated in the 20th century, revealing its exposed timber-framing. The house is two storeys high, with the upper storey jettied on exposed joists at the west end, while the east end features a gable. A later extension projects from the front at the east end. The windows are casements, and the roof is tiled, topped with a central chimney stack that has diagonal shafts.
