April Cottage, The Thatches, and Thatched Cottage are a range of 17th-century cottages that feature timber framing and plastering. A modern gabled wing has been added to the north-east end. The buildings are one storey high with attics and have casement windows and boarded doors. The roofs are thatched and include five dormers on the front.
