Description
Goldens Farmhouse is a 15th-century house that underwent extensive alterations in the 16th century and was extended in the 18th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and features an original cross-wing at the east end, which now oversails. The front has a range of three modern casement windows, while a 16th-century red brick chimney stack adds to its character. At the rear, there is an 18th-century wing that includes an original eight-panel door and a flat canopy supported by brackets. A small 16th-century moulded mullion window can be found at the front. Inside, much of the original frame remains intact, showcasing moulded beams along with 17th and 18th-century doors.
