Description

Tilehall Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house that features the remains of a moat. The building is designed in an L-shaped plan and includes later additions. It stands two storeys high with attics and has a two-window range of casements. A central gabled porch projects from the front of the house. The roof is tiled and has half-hipped ends on the north-east and south-west sides, along with small gables. There is a central chimney stack, which has been rebuilt at the upper part but retains its original base.
