Description
Freemans Farmhouse is a late 16th century or possibly earlier timber-framed and plastered house, with roof timbers believed to be dated 1391. The building has undergone alterations, particularly in the 18th century, and has been renovated. It stands two storeys high and features a four-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars at the front, while the rear has modern casements with bay windows. The roof is tiled and includes an original chimney stack with grouped diagonal pilasters. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed beams.
