  1. Now in use as the Mary Macarthur Holiday Home, it stands in its own park and is approached by a drive leading from Cambridge Road. A large late C19 red brick mansion built by C. R. Pritchett in 1875. (There is a panel on the west side bearing this date). It was added to in 1880 and 1898. Built in the "Jacobean" style in red brick with stone dressings. The main facade faces south with 4 Dutch gables (2 large and 2 small). Three storeys. Four window range, stone mullioned and transomed windows with double-hung sashes behind the mullions and transoms, stone dressed with stone square label moulds. At the west end there is a 2 storeyed canted bay and at the east end there is a single storeyed bay, both with parapets. The east and west fronts are of similar design and on the west there is an entrance porch in the "Gothic" style. On the east side there is a large conservatory with ornamental glazing bars. It is linked to the main block by a glazed loggia with 3 semi-circular arches and an ornamental pierced parapet with finials. Roofs slate, with many elaborate shafted chimney stacks with ornamental caps.
