Description

Numbers 1-9 Railway Cottages form a mid-19th century terrace of houses located on Station Road, Wendens Ambo. The front facade is constructed primarily of flint with red brick detailing. The terrace has two storeys and originally featured a sixteen-window range, although Number 9 is set back from the main block and is rendered in plaster with a three-window range. The windows are iron lattice casements, and have stone sills. Pilasters divide the front elevation. The roof is tiled (20th century) and features nine central chimney stacks.
