Description

The Old Forge is an 18th-century house that is timber-framed and plastered, featuring panelled pargetting on the front, which was added in the 20th century. A wing extends to the west at the rear of the building. It has two storeys and a three-window range on the east front. The upper storey includes leaded casements, while the ground storey has modern oriel bays with leaded lights. There is a central doorway, and the roof is hipped and tiled, with two hipped dormers on the east front and a large square internal chimney stack at the rear.
