Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, located on Bentfield Green in Stansted Mountfitchet. It is a two-storey building with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars, although some are casements. A 19th-century canted bay window has been added to the ground floor. The roof is tiled.
