Description

Lower Farmhouse is a 17th century or earlier, timber framed and rendered farmhouse that stands two stories tall. It has an 'L' shaped plan, featuring a half hipped end to the east, a hipped corner, and a gable to the south. The roofs are covered with clay peg tiles. The west elevation includes two gabled dormers and a gabled porch. At the rear and north sides, there are extensive lean-to extensions. The west elevation also has two red brick stacks and a mixture of old and modern casement windows.
