Description
The Old Rectory is a house with origins dating from the 16th to 17th century, but it underwent significant alterations in the 18th century when it was refaced in red brick. The building features a parapet on the south-west and north-west fronts. At the rear, some timber-framing and plaster are still visible. The south-west front has a one:two:one window arrangement, with the end bays projecting slightly and featuring hipped roofs behind the parapet. The north-west front has a three-window range. Most of the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, and some are three-light. A porch on the south-west front has plain Tuscan columns and a broken pediment. The roof is tiled and includes four flat-headed dormers on the south-west front.
