Description

Brick Cottages, located on Widdington High Street, were built in the mid to late 19th century as part of a range of semi-detached houses designed to accommodate agricultural workers. Each pair features an individually designed front, showcasing an advanced approach for its time. The cottages are constructed of red brick with black brick diapering between the storeys and black brick patterns. They are two storeys high and have a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Notably, the northern house has a window where the doorway was originally located. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring a central ridge chimney stack.
