Description

The Manse is an 18th-century timber-framed building, originally plastered and now faced with pebbledash, with a yellow brick east end. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The upper storey features horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground storey has double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central doorway is framed by wood with fluted pilasters, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice. The roof is tiled and has a half-hipped design at the east and west ends. Two small gabled wings project at the rear, and these may be older than the main section of the building.
