Le Knells Cottage is an early 17th century house that features a timber frame and plastered walls, with weatherboarded ends at the rear and a dado. The cottage has a thatched roof and stands two storeys tall. It has a five-window range with leaded casements and a 17th century red brick chimney stack. A modern gabled porch with a tiled roof has been added to the entrance.
