Description

Manor House is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, built on an H-shaped plan. The house was extended and altered in the 18th century and renovated in the 20th century. It is two storeys and has attics. The west front features double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in the centre block, and casement windows in the cross wings. A six-panel door with glazed upper panels is set within a moulded architrave and pediment. On the south front are three casement windows arranged symmetrically with a central doorway, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, with two original chimney stacks, partly rebuilt, displaying diagonally set shafts. A late 17th-century extension is present on the south wing.
