Description

The cart lodge, located 30 meters southeast of Battles, dates from the 17th or 18th century and consists of seven bays, with the northern two bays enclosed. It is constructed in a timber-framed style and is weatherboarded, topped with a thatched hipped roof. The structure features curved braces to the tie beams and a side purlin roof.
