Description

The Small House is a narrow 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located in Clavering on High Street. It stands two storeys high and is built at an angle to the street. The front features a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The end of the house that faces the street has one window and a doorway, which includes a fanlight and a gabled hood. The roof is tiled and half hipped, with a central chimney stack.
