Description

Saffron Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It stands at a right angle to the road, with a more modern wing at the southwest end extending to the southeast. The cottage was renovated in the 20th century. It is a single storey with attics, and features casement windows. The roof is thatched and half-hipped at the northeast end, with three dormers.
