Description

Payne's Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered building located on Ashdon Road in Radwinter. It features external characteristics from the 17th and 18th centuries, although it may have origins that date back even earlier. The gable of the dormer has a modern date of 1548. The farmhouse has one storey and attics, with small casement windows. The roof is thatched and half hipped, featuring one gabled dormer on the front and a central square chimney stack.
