Description

Holly Trees is a house dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed, with a plastered and roughcast rendered exterior, and is roofed with handmade red clay tiles. The house has two bays facing southeast and features an internal stack at the right end. There is a single-storey lean-to extension at the rear. The building stands two storeys high with attics, and has a two-window range of early 19th century sashes, each with 16 lights, along with two additional windows in flat-roofed dormers. The roof is gambrel in style. The front elevation is plastered and designed to imitate stone blocks, while the rest of the building is roughcast rendered.
