Description

Gurnhams is a house that features elements from the 18th century but likely has origins from the 17th century, with some alterations and rear additions made in the 19th century. The building is faced with red brick and has a red plain tiled roof. It has red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides, as well as an off-centre right chimney stack. The house has a stone parapet with parapet verges and a moulded stone cornice. There are seven windows in total, which are small paned vertically sliding sashes set beneath gauged brick arches. Above the ground floor porch, there is a central angled three-light bay that is supported by columns with moulded capitals and bases. The doorway features a moulded surround and reveal panels.
