Description

The Old Post Office is a house that features characteristics from the 18th century, though it may have earlier origins. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded. The building has a half hipped, steeply pitched gambrel roof covered with red plain tiles, with an outshot at the rear. A large central chimney stack made of red brick is prominent. The house has two storeys and attics, with a two-window range that includes small paned vertically sliding sashes with moulded surrounds. The central doorway has been boarded up since the time of the last survey.
