Description

The Sandle headstone, located approximately 1 metre east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints, is a Grade II listed structure. It commemorates Mary Sandle, who died in 1795, and Samuel Sandle, who died in 1845. This late 18th-century headstone is made of limestone and features a shaped head adorned with a pair of cherub heads in relief, along with an inscription.
