Description

Marshgate Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century and later. It is timber framed and covered in white weatherboarding, standing two storeys high. The building features eaves, a ridge, fly-hips, peg tiles, and a central chimney stack. The central entrance has a door with a paned and glazed top half, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. On either side of the door are hornless small-paned sash windows, with a matching window located above the door.
