Description
No. 113 High Street is a cottage, part of a pair with No. 117, dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is timber framed and rough rendered, topped with a hipped grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and features one window range facing High Street. The ground floor includes a 19th-century three-light bay window with double-hung sliding sashes. On the right side, there are four Gothic head windows on the first floor, three of which are now blocked. The ground floor has a two-window range, with one window now blocked as well. A central trellised hood porch leads to a door that matches No. 117, along with a part-glazed double door to the right. The front is covered with trellis. There are two red brick chimney stacks, and the front garden of both No. 113 and No. 117 is enclosed by 19th-century cast iron arrowhead railings.
