Description

Murrells Farmhouse is a house featuring gabled and jettied crosswings on both the left and right sides. It dates back to the 16th century or earlier, although the front was rebuilt after it was damaged by a flying bomb in 1944. The house has two storeys and is constructed from timber framing with plaster. It has a red plain tiled roof, with a window arrangement of 1:2:1 on the first floor and 2:3:2 on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century board door located to the right of the left crosswing. The house is topped with three red brick chimney stacks, one of which is external and has a 16th-century brick base.
