Description

Castle Farm Barn, located to the northeast of Castle House, is a barn built in the late 18th century. It features five bays and is constructed with a timber frame that is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated roof. The barn has hanging knees supporting the tie beams, through bracing, and a side purlin roof with a ridge board. The top plates are joined with halved and bladed scarfs.
