Description
Homelea is a house built around 1780. It has a timber frame and is roughly rendered. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and features a central round-headed dormer window with a double-hung small-paned sliding sash window. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a moulded wood eaves cornice. There are five windows in total, all double-hung small-paned sashes set in moulded surrounds, with the upper central window having a round head. The entrance features a six-panel door flanked by Corinthian pilasters and a frieze decorated with swags and urns. Above the door is a good segmental porch head with a metal plain fan decoration, supported by attached shaft columns. There are plastered brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides of the house.
