Description
The Old Stable at Little Hyde Hall Farm, located on the north side of the first yard from the road, is a 17th century building that has undergone some later alterations. This small structure features a composite design with weatherboarded timber framing and a brick base, topped with a gabled roof now covered in asbestos. The building includes heavy timber framing with a diagonal brace in the eastern part, which has a steeper pitch to the roof on the north side. There is a blocked door centrally located on the south side, while the entrance has been relocated to the west gable. A 19th century window has been inserted into the loft opening on the east side. This interesting structure is listed for its group value.
