Description

Belchers Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The frame is exposed on the exterior, featuring a jettied and gabled first floor supported by brackets. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys. There are various 19th and 20th-century casement windows, some of which are leaded. A 20th-century porch is present, along with a staircase tower. The front range has a three-bay and chimney bay layout, and it retains its original red brick chimney stack.
