Description
Jaggers Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built around 1790 for Thomas Jaggard. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick and features a gabled pantile roof with brick end stacks. The building has a 2-unit plan with a central staircase and a rear outshut. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window range. The entrance consists of a panelled door with a mid-20th century fanlight, set within a porch. Notable architectural details include cambered brick arches and flat brick arches above 16-pane sash windows, as well as dentilled eaves. There is a small mid-20th century extension at the rear. Inside, the farmhouse features boxed beams, panelled doors set in moulded architraves, and a plain late 18th-century fireplace set in a moulded architrave to the left.
