Description

Marsh Cottage is a late 17th century cottage that features a timber frame and weatherboarding, with a red brick facade added in the 18th century. The cottage has a red plain tile roof and is one storey high with attics. It has five windows, which are modern casements set in segmental arches, and two gabled dormers. The original central chimney stack is made of red brick. Inside, the cottage includes stop-chamfered beams, exposed ceiling joists, and some 16th century doors and panelling.
