Description

Rockingham's Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house constructed of red brick, featuring a grey slate hipped roof. The building stands two storeys high and includes a two-storey late 19th-century extension to the south. It has a four-window range with vertical sliding sashes that have glazing bars. A projecting two-storey red brick porch, also with a grey slate hipped roof, adds to its character. The red brick chimney stacks have been rebuilt in the upper part around 1890. The roof is of a triple range design. Inside, the farmhouse retains its original staircase with turned balusters and vertical shutters on the windows.
