Description

Layer Marney House is an early 19th-century house constructed of plastered brick, topped with a grey slate hipped roof. It is two storeys tall, and the south front features a three-window range of vertical sliding double-hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a two-storey extension to the north and a single-storey extension on the west side. The house underwent alterations in the late 19th century.
