Description

Brent Hall is a late 18th century red brick house, built on a square plan. The south-west front features a parapet with a dentilled brick cornice and a pediment above the central section. The house has two storeys and cellars, with a three-window arrangement on the front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plastered reveals and topped with segmental arched heads. The central section, containing a single window, projects slightly. A central doorway is framed by an architrave, a rectangular fanlight, and a pedimented hood supported by brackets. Generally, the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals with segmental heads. The roof is tiled with a mansard design, featuring lead flushings. Remains of a moat are present.
