Description
Goat Hall is a 17th-century house that was later encased and extended. The visible front is of grey gault brick, with a five-window range over two storeys. Three gabled dormers are present on the front, with modern windows in all openings. The roof is hipped and covered in peg tiles, with a large chimney stack at the rear. The plan is complex, comprising of two parallel ranges running roughly north to south, with one wing extending to the rear (east) from the north end. Inside, there is a timber frame and a five-bay long overmantle dating to around 1660. A brick floor and some oak panelling from the 17th century are also present.
