Description
Generals is a former inn known as the General's Head, originally built as a timber-framed and plastered house in the 17th century. It features slightly projecting cross wings on the east and west ends. The building underwent alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries and was renovated in the 20th century. It has two storeys and a three-window range on the front, with three and four-light early 19th-century casements that have Gothic arched lights. On the west side, there are two windows on the ground storey along with a central doorway that is flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice. The roof is tiled.
