Description

Berkeley Cottage is a late 15th century timber-framed and plastered house that has undergone later alterations and was renovated in the 20th century. The building has two storeys and features 20th century casement windows. One bay of the original hall remains, along with part of another bay. In the 16th century, a floor was added to the hall. At the south end, there is a cross wing that was originally jettied on the first storey but has since been underbuilt. The roof is tiled, and the hall block includes a crown post roof truss.
