Sandford Bridge is a bridge over the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation, built around 1797. The chief engineer was John Rennie, with supervision by Richard Coates. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, featuring sandstone coping. The bridge has a single round arch and a band that runs through square end pillars. It is one of the five original bridges on this navigation.
