Description

Widford Hall is a late 17th century house with a front dating from around 1700, constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. The building is two stories high, and the east wing features a three-window range of tripartite sashes. On the ground floor, there are two windows that match those above, along with a central door topped by a round-headed fanlight. The roof is hipped and covered with peg tiles, and the overall roof plan is U-shaped, with two parallel ranges extending to the west. Inside, there is a very fine carved pine fire surround adorned with scallops, egg and tongue motifs, and acanthus leaves.
