Description

Hulmers is a late 18th-century double pile house located on Great Warley Street. The house is rendered and colourwashed, featuring a hipped tiled roof with end brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars; the end windows are tripartite. A capped parapet crowns the structure. The central entrance is framed by a pedimented doorcase supported by Doric columns, and includes individual friezes, an ornamental fanlight, and a glazed and panelled door. To the north of the house, there is an attached red brick wall approximately eight feet high, which features a section of 18th-century iron railings at the eastern corner, positioned on a low brick wall with stone coping.
