Limestone and yellow brick. 3 stone steps to NW and SE rise to a square platform, partly of stone, partly of render on yellow brick, on which is a plain square base of stone, on which are 4 square stone blocks supporting a stone obelisk. Below the platform is a semicircular vault, blocked near each end with red brick in stretcher bond. On the point of the obelisk is a black spread eagle on a ball, of cast-iron.
