Description
This building is a row of small timber-framed almshouses dating from the early 19th century, located on Queen Street in Coggeshall. The front is finished in painted brick, and the structure is one storey high with attics, topped by a plain tile roof. It features six dormers with sloping heads and a dentilled brick eaves cornice. The row includes six three-light casement windows, most of which have glazing bars. A plaque on the front indicates that the building was restored in 1938 by George Frederick Beaumont.
