Description
Barns to Powers Hall are a continuous range of timber-framed and weatherboarded structures located to the southeast of Powers Hall. The complex includes a 15th-century, seven-bay aisled barn at the southeast end and a 17th-century barn that was altered in the 18th century. This latter barn features two storeys and attics, with a six-window range and 18th-century fenestration that includes glazing bars. The roofs of both barns are tiled and include four gabled dormers. The 15th-century barn has two gabled entrances on the northeast side and boasts a fine interior with braced tie beams and king posts. Powers Hall and the barns together form a group of historical significance.
