Description
Powers Hall is a late 16th century timber-framed and plastered house that was re-fronted in the 18th century using buff coloured gault brick. The southeast front features a parapet with a stone coping and end pilasters. The central section protrudes slightly and includes a three-window brick bay that rises through two storeys, flanked by one window range on either side. The building has two storeys, and the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals. A six-panel door is framed by a wood doorcase with panelled reveals, pilasters, and a cornice supported by console brackets. The roof is hipped and tiled, and there is one original chimney stack with moulded offsets. Powers Hall and the barns associated with it form a group.
