Description

Forge Cottage, formerly a smithy, is located approximately 10 metres northwest of the cottage in Great Maplestead. This building, likely dating from the 18th century, is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with red plain tiles. A red brick chimney stack is present, and the road-facing side has double doors. To the right side, there is a window opening fitted with board shutters, while the left side has a stable door and another window opening.
