Description
Parkhall Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed from timber framing and has a rough rendered finish, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The building features three red brick chimney stacks, with the left stack being external and the central stack being notably large. The main range of the house has two gabled crosswings on the right side. It stands two storeys high, with a window arrangement of three windows on the first floor and two windows on the ground floor, primarily consisting of 18th and 19th century small paned vertically sliding sashes, including some three-light windows. The ground floor also has a bay window to the right of the main range. The main entrance is off-centre to the left and features a six-panel door with a light above, surrounded by a moulded pediment.
