Description
Quy's Farmhouse is a 17th-century house that was extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered, with some areas of exposed framing, and has a thatched roof. The house consists of four bays aligned approximately east-west, with a central chimney stack and 19th or 20th-century chimney stacks at each end. There is a 20th-century extension to the north, creating an irregular T-plan. The farmhouse is single storey with attics.
On the south elevation, there is a 20th-century porch and four 20th-century casement windows, two of which have external hinged shutters. Additionally, there are two 20th-century casement windows in eyebrow dormers, all featuring rectangular leading. The central stack has grouped diagonal shafts that have been rebuilt at the top. The exposed framing at the front includes some imitation elements. Inside, there is some exposed framing, chamfered axial beams, and plain joists of flat section in the western part of the house.
